Working in groups you will create some skits similar to the I am a PC and I am a Mac commercials found on TV. See below for examples.
You need to create each of the following commercials (but as skits):
- I am a phrase; I am a clause. Find help here.
- I am a dependent clause; I am a independent clause. Find help here.
- I am a predicate; I am a subject. Find help here.
You will work in groups of about four. Everybody needs to be in one or more of them. The skits need to be under one minute each and should be clever, BUT they must also teach us about these parts of speech.
