Labor and Management Talk It Out

Working in groups you will act out a meeting between labor (the workers) and management (the bosses).  You can see an example below, but I am sure you all will do even better!

Step-by-step:

  1. Open up Pages and create a two-cell table similar to this one.
    1. Share your ideas here.
  2. Look through your previous Keynotes on industrialism and fill out the table
  3. Write a dialog between labor and management.  Include as many issues as possible based on what we have learned so far.
  4. Smile for the camera cause we is gonna film it!

Use this dialog starter

Labor: We on the assembly line are not happy!

Management:  Well, what is your beef?

Labor:  We have a got a list of complaints and we want to know your response.

Management:

Labor:

etc….

  1. AHHHHHH oh dear i remember this XD thank you for bringing back old memories…and thanks for making me wheeze from laughing at vivian’s performance. but jeez! that seemed like a long time ago!
    @vivian…you didn’t change very much. :D jkjkjk i luved your giggly self.
    @walter…you certainly look different…hahahahaha
    i miss this class!!!!!!

  2. I enjoyed watching these videos. It helped me to appreciate that the arguments were not so simple. It seems obvious that management would give the workers better working conditions. However, these videos helped me to see that management needed to look out for their own interests and to make money. Well done.
