I know that whenever I read a book as powerful as The Good Earth, I often read what a character is doing and think to myself  “What was he/she thinking!!!??”

This is your chance to do just that, but in a talk show format.

We will need the following characters:

• Talk show host
• Wang Lung
• O-Lan
• Lotus
• The uncle
• Cuckoo
• Lotus

Step-by-Step

1. Pick people to be the characters
2. Brainstorm questions for each character
3. List those questions here
4. Start the show (let’s record it)
5. Have fun!
