The Push In

Using the camera to slowly push in toward your character or subject is a powerful film technique that lets your audience know something important is happening.  

Steps To Success

  1. Create two push in shots to a close-up or extreme close up
    1. One should be very slow
    2. One should be very fast
    3. Keep the camera STEADY. No shaking.
  2. Think of some clever ideas
  3. Add transitions, audio, music, etc. as you want
    1. Be creative!
  4. Export the video to your desktop
  5. Name the movie as follows:  Your First name, Last Name, Assignment Name
  6. Upload the video to Google Classroom
