A reel is what directors and actors use when they are applying for jobs or want to share their work with people in their lives.

Assignment

Create a film reel that has five or more scenes from the movies you have made. It is just scenes, not entire movies, so keep it short.

Steps to Success

• Make your first scene a GREAT one. Hook that audience
• Keep scenes short
• Look for scenes that you are really proud of and look great!
• Jump from a scene from one movie to another movie and back
• Use lots of match cuts
• Logo at the front maybe?
• Pick great music.  Check out bensound.com
